We took Jake skating for the first time. He was really excited but also frustrated that it took him a whopping ten minutes to learn how to do. After about ten minutes he tossed off the walker, the brace that they had for kids to lean on, and was racing around.
Of course you've gotta have cocoa.

More Skating

By the end of it, Jake really had the hang of it. He had pushed off the "walker" and was slowing skating back and forth between Dave and I. Props to Dave for hanging in there; I didn't realize when I planned this that he didn't really skate.
