Halloween 2010

This year Jake went as Robin Hood and Atticus went as a backhoe bucket bulldozer.
It was awesome to spend this one in LA; both the boys were thrilled to show their family their costumes!

and his backhoe bucket loaded (which, yes, lacked a backhoe. shhh).
Please note that all the parts work including the bucket loader, the head lights, and the tail lights. Yep, that's how we roll.

Robin Hood

I made Jacob his Robin Hood costume. He was thrilled. Robbing candy from the rich to feed the poor.
The boys really liked showing off their costumes to GG.

Cousin Jess Comes to School

Jake's class had a "Guys Only" pumpkin carving. Don't ask me why that is or what that is in a class that is 60% girls. Anyway, Dave was out of town so Cousin Jess awesomely agreed to come into the classroom to carve a pumpkin with Jake. What we didn't know was that he would be leading a group. As Jake explained "You better listen to him cause he drives a submarine."

Anyway, they measured their pumpkins and counted the segments. Jake had an awesome time and Jess didn't seem like he was any worse for the wear.

THANKS JESS!

Venable School Walk-a-thon

These are a tad late in going up. They are pictures from Jake's school walk-a-thon. He walked fifteen laps, each being a quater mile. We were all super proud of him!

Loving on Baby Jack

We all got to see Amanda, Jason, and Jack as well as Uncle Gary and Tara in DC this weekend. The only problem arose when I had to tell the boys that Jack wasn't coming home with us.
